Redesign the website for Trinity Repertory Company, one of New England's most popular independent theaters. Integrate a content management system that would make it easy to manage the frequently-updated website. Increase online ticket sales.
Located in Providence, RI, Trinity Repertory Company brings progressive theater events to the community. The organization needed to improve their website and interactive marketing to demonstrate the quality of productions and draw more patrons to the theater.
The Trinity Rep marketing team also needed a reliable content management system that would allow them to make frequent updates to the website without any knowledge of HTML.
The major goal, however, was to increase the number of tickets purchased online.
RDVO worked with Trinity Rep to develop website requirements and user needs. We developed a new design approach, leveraging powerful imagery and features to promote current and upcoming productions.
We customized Mambo, a powerful Open Source content management system, to serve as the site CMS. The Mambo CMS was modified extensively to meet the needs of the website.
An improved event calendar was also integrated with the site and integrated with a third-party ticketing system.
Since launch, site measurement has indicated increases in site usage and access to online ticketing.
